As long as the the Quick valve is installed properly it shouldn’t leak because of the 3 backup mechanisms that are built into every valve to prevent leaks.

Installing and changing your oil is easy.

For installation:

Using a ratchet, remove your old oil drain plug and drain oil into a drip pan.
Once all the oil is drained, install the Quick Twist Oil Drain Valve and secure tightly with a ratchet.

Once installed, to change oil:

Unscrew the Quick Twist Oil Drain Valve cap
Connect and secure the oil drain tube to the valve. The oil drain tube pushes upward on a check ball, releasing the flow of oil, which should drain oil in 10 minutes or less.
Capture the oil in our Oil Drain Bag or in any drip pan.
Disconnect the tube, screw the Quick Twist Oil Drain Valve cap back on and add oil.

too big, doesn't fit underneath factory cover

2011 BMW 335d
When installed, points directly to the ground under the oil pan. This valve is the lowest point on the engine and that part of the undercar, and there's a real risk of some road debris or a speedbump hitting it. The factory skid plate cover doesn't close over it so the bottom of the engine is bare and this thing sticks out like it's just asking for a speed bump to knock it off and lose all the oil out of the engine.
1/4 inch shorter and it would at least clear the factory engine cover. This thing looks massive under there, and there needs to be a lower profile version.
I guess we'll see.

I had bought one of their valvomax drain plugs for a 1990 Chevy K2500. When I went to install it, it was the wrong size which was not their fault it's an old truck. I quickly emailed and asked if I could swap it out for the size that was on my truck. They had the right one ordered and sent out before I could print off the return shipping label at no cost. Other companies need to study the Valvomax company on how customer service is suppose to look like. Shout out to Juna who was extremely helpful. I plan to add valvomax drain plugs to all of my cars in the future just based on customer service. I'm sure the product will be perfect when I get it installed. Highly recommend this company!

Easiest oil change I have ever done. Did my first change with the ValvoMax yesterday, barely got my hands dirty. No more getting oil on your hands taking out a drain plug. Minimal mess. Don't need a wrench anymore. Unscrew the cap, attach the hose, super easy!

MUST HAVE FOR DIY OIL CHANGES

Is worth the price alone just for the fact you don’t take your drain plug in and out and risk stripping the plug or oil pan every oil change. Once installed a person with zero experience can do an oil change quickly, safely, and with minimal mess. Truly is a 5 star product, recommend it to all my friends and anyone that is sick of paying $100+ for oil changes
